Seven36 Fine Woodworking LLC is a custom furniture and woodworking company dedicated to strong craftsmanship through the use of traditional joinery techniques. Proprietor, lead designer and cabinet maker Matthew Mullen works closely with clients, seamlessly incorporating choice design elements into one of kind, heirloom quality pieces of furniture.
Matthew fell in love with the craft in the 2000 under the guidance of his high school shop teacher, Ronald Kyser. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology in the School For American Crafts, graduating Cum Laude and receiving a B.F.A in Furniture Design and Woodworking.
Matthew operates Seven36 from the wood shop of Brooklyn’s own 3rd Ward, “a multi-disciplinary workspace and education center”, where he also teaches courses in woodworking.
